One of my favourite tricks for creating beautiful festive nail art is to use stickers. The design is already created for you, so all that is left to do is transfer the appliqué to your nails. Easy peasy!
I chose to use this gold geometric pattern, which I think is beautiful for a special occasion – especially a Christmas party.
You guys will never guess where I found these!
Wait for it…

I hope you guys are as excited about that as I am! I love the nail appliqués OPI and essie have put out recently, but sometimes they can be a little bit pricey. I found this gorgeous pack, called oh my gold! by essie, for just $2.50! They had a bunch of different designs on the shelf as well. I’m not sure if they are carried at the dollar store all year-round so if you manage to find some, I’d say stock up!
Inside the little package, there are 18 nail stickers in all different sizes to fit every shape of nail. There’s also a plastic stick to press down and seal all of the edges, and a nail file to eliminate any excess. I normally have enough leftover stickers when I’m finished for a second manicure. Which really works out to be $1.25 a manicure! Not a bad value if you ask me…
Now two of my favourite colours for the holidays – as you know – are red and gold. I decided to layer these nail stickers overtop of The Thrill of Brazil by OPI.
After firmly pressing down the appliqués, I just filed down the excess and smoothed out the tips.
Using nail stickers is a fool-proof way of creating sleek, eye-popping nail art that will attract compliments during the holidays.
