My lips have felt extremely dry lately, and a bold colour can look terrible when applied to cracked lips, so before I began my makeup I decided to test out a lip mask from the Patchology Wink & A Kiss FlashPatch 5 Minute Hydrogels Set.
Unlike regular fibre masks, these have an extremely delicate gel formula and can break really easily. They feel nice and cooling on the lips, although I would suggest chilling out in one spot for 5-10 minutes while wearing them, as they can slip around if you're up and about. There's also a tiny slit in the middle to make breathing a little easier, but it's not the easiest thing to talk with, so it's best to hunker down in a quiet space alone. I was helping my Mom set up the dinner table, so it wasn't the most enjoyable experience for me...
Although our Christmas dinner was pretty casual, I never shy from an opportunity to wear bold lipstick. It's just so festive and fun!
