Every now and then LUSH discontinues products so they can invent and release new ones. It’s a bitter sweet notion. Although some really great creations are eliminated, the company always releases something new that is sure to impress. However, if they ever decide to stop selling The Comforter Bubble Bar, I would be absolutely HEARTBROKEN! It is my favourite LUSH product and I rarely ever leave a store without one.
I’ve tried LUSH facial moisturizers, cleansers, hair masks, bath bombs, body butters, massage bars, shower gels. The list goes on…
The Comforter Bubble Bar is the very first product I ever tried, and despite trying a ton of other LUSH products, it’s still my all-time favourite! Its scent makes me feel so nostalgic! Funnily enough, it was a scent I didn’t like at first. It is an odd one and somewhat hard to describe. Think black liquorice, bubblegum, and blackcurrant mixed together. Sweet, but not too sweet. Eventually I learned to LOVE the fragrance and now I find it very calming and relaxing.
It’s a little pricey compared to some of the other bath products LUSH sells. But it’s definitely one of their largest Bubble Bars. I cut mine into smaller pieces and use one quarter per bath. Which means I can get at least four baths from this one vibrant pink Bubble Bar.
And let me tell you…the bubbles are glorious!! They’re super fluffy and last for what feels like forever. I sat in a tub surrounded by these luxurious bubbles for longer than an hour one time. Once I decided my fingers had shrivelled far past pruney and I stepped out of the bath, there were still bubbles floating on top of the water. The water also turns a pretty pink colour, which does nothing but look visibly appealing, and sparks feelings of peace and happiness. It also makes the water (and skin) feel silky smooth.
With its warm and comforting scent, it’s perfect for unwinding after a long day. I highly recommend The Comforter Bubble Bar to anyone and everyone!! Luckily, it’s a LUSH best seller, so I’m pretty sure we won’t have to worry about it disappearing any time soon. I say ‘we’ because I know you’ll be hooked on it too once you try one for yourself.
