Pins Of The Week

May 27, 2018

See what I saved this week…

1. Lemon Chamomile Honey Bundt Cake

Lemon, chamomile and honey sound like flavours that would go really nicely together! But I also really like the shape of this bundt cake, created by Baking The Goods.

2. Eating Better

I don’t like limiting myself to anything – especially when it comes to food. But it truly is hard to say ‘I don’t want that’ when bad foods taste so good. Hopefully one day the below sentence will become true for me.

3. Chicken Mushroom Alfredo Casserole

Doesn’t this just scream COMFORT in a casserole dish? It’s also ironic that this is the pin I saved after the previous quote…

4. July Bullet Journal Cover Idea

I love the watermelons circling around this July cover page created by Elies Indigne on Instagram!

5. Hunter Starcloud Tall Rain Boots

I’m not sure how wearable they would be every day, but these sparkly boots from Anthropologie are super fun!

6. OPI I’ll Have A Gin & Tectonic Nail Polish

I don’t like gin, but I love the name and colour of this nail polish! Swatch photo is by Beautyill.

7. Enthusiasm

TRUE! Knowledge is power, but enthusiasm pulls this switch.

8. Homemade Sore Muscle Rub

I have THE WORST muscle recovery and need this DIY remedy from Freebie Finding Mom in my life.

9. Yellow Embellished Skirt

Yellow seems to be the colour this summer and the details on this flowy skirt from Anthropologie are so pretty!

10. Sesame Chia Banana Bread with Honey and Tahini

On Friday I came home to a house that was 27 degrees (we didn’t have our air on) and 9 bananas that reacted poorly to the heat. I immediately popped them into the freezer.

Yesterday during Beanstock Festival, I sampled an amazing banana bread with tahini and sesame seeds on top. I knew right then and there that I was going to use some of my ‘rotten’ bananas to create a similar recipe. Hence the reason I found and saved this one from Closet Cooking on Pinterest. Doesn’t it look delicious?!
