Boosting My Energy Levels w/ Tru Niagen + A GIVEAWAY
Taking any kind of supplement on the regular is new for me. Aside from the odd vitamin C gummy I happily chewed as a kid (that shit tastes like candy!), I’ve never taken a daily multivitamin or dietary supplement. To be honest, I think it comes down to me simply being lazy and ‘forgetting’ to take the pills. I’ve just never been consistent.
I can proudly say I have just finished my first bottle of Tru Niagen and I’ll be cracking open a brand new one tomorrow!
What Is Tru Niagen?
Tru Niagen is a supplement clinically proven to increase NAD (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) levels, which help support cellular repair and promote cellular energy production.
What Is NAD?
NAD is a molecule found in our cells used to power metabolism and converts food into energy. It’s also used for basic functions like sleeping, breathing and drinking. But our NAD levels decline over time. Low NAD can be linked to aging and other health concerns including diabetes, vision loss, Alzheimer’s disease and heart disease. Increasing NAD levels can help reverse signs of aging and lower the risk of these health issues.
Why Did I Decide To Start Taking Tru Niagen?
Well…I’m not overly concerned about reversing the signs of aging just yet. But I am really interested in boosting my energy levels and helping my body FEEL better overall. I’m the type of person that suffers from persistent tiredness ALL. THE. DAMN. TIME. I wake up after 8 or 9 hours of sleep (yes, I get this on the regular) and I don’t feel rested. I hit a slump mid-day and crave a nap. Then 10PM rolls around and my eyes feel heavier than an overweight suitcase…
Poor analogy? Ah well, I tried…
My point is, I could use some help boosting my energy levels and 3 cups of caffeine on the daily ain’t helping. So when I learned that Tru Niagen helps create more NAD, which in turn produces more energy, I felt compelled to try it.
Tru Niagen Review
As I mentioned before, I just finished using Tru Niagen for a month and I feel great! I’ve noticed I have been exercising more and napping less. I’ve also noticed that I’m not quite as hungry as I used to be. Which is not a statement I want to make to imply that this can be a diet or weight loss tool. It’s not. What I think it comes down to is that I’m less tired, and therefore I’m less bored because I’m keeping myself active. We’ve all been tricked into thinking we’re hungry when we’re simply just bored, right? Since starting to take Tru Niagen, I’m snacking less, which is something I used to do as a result of boredom and lack of motivation or procrastination.
I certainly have not lost any weight, but my body feels much better! I’m not turning to unnecessary junk that ends up giving me stomach aches and making me feel like a lazy blob.
Noticing these benefits is what has encouraged me to take the supplements every morning. I’ve now built a habit out of it (I rarely forget), and I’m excited to see if more positive outcomes arise as I continue taking Tru Niagen from here on out.
