It’s the Sephora Holiday Savings Event for Beauty Insiders, and I thought I would share some of my favourites in case you’re looking for recommendations. These are products that I use often, have purchased many times, or will be repurchasing myself during the sale.
KOSAS Revealer Super Creamy + Brightening Concealer and Daytime Eye Cream
Super creamy is right. It’s a very hydrating concealer, but also thick at the same time, and therefore has great coverage! It’s going to be great for the winter months when my skin feels most parched. It doesn’t seem to crease on me, but it does leave a pretty shiny finish. I prefer to set it with a powder, which leads me to the next product…
KOSAS Cloud Set Baked Setting & Smoothing Talc Free Vegan Powder
I don’t think I’ve ever used a powder more beautiful. It’s silky smooth but also sheer. I honestly pile this stuff on my face and I’ve never felt like it has made me look cakey. If you look really, really close there are micro, teeny, tiny specs of shimmer, which allow the product to mattify shine, yet leave a glow. I have the shade Feathery.
Benefit Cosmetics Precisely, My Brow Pencil Waterproof Eyebrow Definer
I don’t know why it took me so long to try this product. Actually, I do…it’s a pretty hefty price tag. I bought a travel-size version earlier this year just to test it out. It was a match made in heaven and worth every penny. It’s not too soft, but not too dry either, and applies just the right amount of pigment. The colour 3.5 is pretty spot on for me, but I love how many other shades are available for different skin tones and hair colours. I also love the built-in spoolie!
Peter Thomas Roth Water Drench Hyaluronic Cloud Hydra-Gel Eye Patches
There’s no better time to splurge on a high-end beauty item than during a sale.
I’ve been using these a ton since giving birth to my son, Titan. I keep them in the fridge and they feel so incredibly nice under my eyes when I’m feeling extra tired and puffy (which is most days these days). Makeup also seems to sit much better on my skin after I’ve worn them.
Belif Aqua Bomb Jelly Cleanser
I rotate between this and the next product I’m going to talk about, depending on how my skin is feeling at the moment. When I’m feeling a little more oily or experiencing breakouts, I like to use the Aqua Bomb Jelly Cleanser for a bit of a deeper clean.
The Inkey List Oat Cleansing Balm
I like to use this guy when my face feels dry or when I have a good amount of makeup on. At $13, it’s one of the most affordable cleansers Sephora sells, and the bottle is pretty large too. There’s also a miniature version for $6 for those who want to “try before they buy”.
BRIOGEO Detox + Repair Hair Value Set
This set is such a good value and seems to only come out around this time of year. I wrote a post all about the products titled “The Shampoo + Conditioner I Can’t Stop Talking About“, and nearly one year later, my love remains strong. I even paid full price to restock on them in the summer. So although I still have quite a bit left, I’m definitely going to take advantage of the sale and grab a set to save some moulah.
BITE Beauty Agave+ Intensive Vegan Lip Mask
I’ve tried SO many other overnight lip masks, but nothing ever really compares to this one. I can’t even tell you how many tubes I’ve gone through. I use it at night before bed and can still feel it on my lips the next morning. It really works to lock in moisture and I swear it’s a lifesaver in the winter when my lips take a bit of a beating from the climate.
